Prior to submission of the planning application, CGL, Alliance Planning and WCH have consulted with the Council's Senior Planning Officers and Design Officers. To formal pre-application meetings were held with case officers. Meetings with planning, conservation and operations officers at British Waterways have been held to discuss the proposals and impacts on the canal.
