Following completion of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link in 2007, LB of Islington commissioned a planning brief in 2012 to guide future development in the area in consultation with the local community. The report recommended the site at 351 Caledonian Road for housing and open space. The project needed a strong vision and an effective team to implement and deliver it and to bring the derelict site back into beneficial use. Our proposed design for Telford Homes was the preferred option for redevelopment and was granted unanimous planning consent by Islington Council in December 2014.
