The Rothschild Foundation and Design Team have undertaken extensive
public consultation with local councillors, residents and other key
stakeholders.
A public exhibition was held on 17th July 2014 at Waddesdon Village
Hall which was attended by approximately 230 people. A second public
exhibition was held at the village hall on 21st November 2014 with
approximately 47 people attending. Further to this, exhibition boards
were made available to the public via The Rothschild Foundation’s own
website.
Key changes made to the scheme through that process includes:
• Changes to the master plan setting out, to enhance private garden
sizes
• Changes to the visual appearance, to reflect comments about
architectural appearance and material choice.
• Changes to the number of car parking spaces, to allow for an
allocated car parking strategy and enhance visitor parking
• Change to the setting out along the Waddesdon brook, to allow for
better water attenuation and biodiversity
• Clarification of highway access and works
• Clarification of location of new allotments
