The proposals provide a transition between the urban character and the green belt via a green link into St Andrews Park. The scheme also features private courtyard gardens between each block. These courtyards and open spaces use irregular angles to accentuate the asymmetry of the buildings and also soften the interface between the development and the park. A mix of hard and soft landscaping features, with seating areas and spaces for informal use and complement the adjacent Park where formal recreation and play facilities are provided.
