External areas of the site have been designed to promote a shared amenity space whilst preserving defensible terrace space for each house. The landscaping is designed to enhance local ecology and biodiversity set within durable corten lined planter beds. This enhanced biodiversity is complemented by new areas of sedum green roof. Energy efficient (Daylight sensor activated) external lighting, composting, recycling, permeable hard landscaping and multiple bike storage for each house to minimise any reliance on cars or public transport.
